The Friends of F.A.C.E. are a widespread group of people who give of their time to raise the necessary monies to enable F.A.C.E. to carry out its work. Some of them attend the monthly Friends meeting held in the Oncology Department of the Western General in Edinburgh, but the majority just beaver away in their own little corner carrying out the activities illustrated in the fundraising section of the site. They operate in their own localities throughout the area, Fife, Edinburgh, Musselburgh, Midlothian, Queensferry and Kirkliston, Livingston, Dunfermline and the Borders are just a few of their locations. They come into full appearance at the annual Christmas Fair held on the first Saturday of December within the Oncology department of the Western General when some 60 plus individuals work hard to raise the cash.
