The main aim of F.A.C.E. is to raise money to support and make possible a series of small improvements to patient care and comfort,
The support, while wide ranging, can generally be recognised under the following broad types of activity:-
- Provision of Quiet Rooms or Relaxation space
- Provision of equipment to give patients more comfort
- Provision of Information for patients and their carers
- Provision of furnishings etc for 'Relative Rooms' to allow overnight stays
- Provision of flowers and gardens etc.
- The arranging of excursions or visits to brighten patients lives.
- An annual event is the visit by a number of sick children to visit Santa Claus in Lapland
We are always looking for ways to assist in the provision of facilities for the treatment, care and comfort of patients, their families and friends during their period of care.
